We are a small but incredibly dedicated team.

 

In our services team we have the following roles:

Service Coordinator: Provides social work and oversight of all client services. She makes sure people in our service are receiving the best and most appropriate support.

Support and Social workers: We have two support and social workers who provide practical assistance and support for those accessing our services. Whether that is helping someone access benefits, medical care and other needs or being a consistent ear to talk about life, goals and experiences. Our social workers have particular training in trauma, mental health as well as social work.

Counsellors: We have one qualified counsellor on our team who is trained in western (Hakomi) and tikanga Māori therapeutic tools and frames of reference.

Our services team can provide non ACC support and counselling for those who do not want to or are unable to access this pathway.

ACC Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Psychologists: We are a supplier of ACC Sensitive Claims services. This means we have a range of people providing services funded by  ACC for those who wish to access an ACC sensitive claim. Your support worker can explain this process to you and support you to access these services.

The ‘business’ end of our service:

The Agency Manager: Oversees the day-to-day running of the organisation and works to ensure we are a great place to work and a great place to receive service from.

Funding and Finance Coordinator: Works tirelessly on completing funding applications and ensuring we are meeting all our financial responsibilities.
