About Wellington Rape Crisis
Wellington Rape Crisis was established in 1977 by a small group of women who identified, and responded to, a community need by creating a support network for women survivors of rape and sexual abuse. Today the centre is a fully Incorporated Society called Wellington Rape Crisis (Inc).
We operate with a volunteer Governance Group who are responsible for the strategic direction and financial oversight of the organisation. The Governance Group is accountable to our membership (click here for information about becoming a member of WRC).
